My journey in the healing arts is a fairly unique story. I was a professor of Japanese Literature, who spent nearly two decades in academia. But over the years, my body started to have problems from stress and from not following my heart. While trying various methods to heal myself, I had a life-changing experience with Craniosacral Therapy. With one small adjustment, I experienced an emotional release and a sense of wholeness. I felt like I was my true self again.

Since then, I have devoted myself to the path of the healing arts. As a therapist, I want people to experience the same kind of transformation that I encountered. I have had the fortune to train with an amazing group of teachers all over the world, who have all said the same thing: The most important thing is to simply listen to the client's body's own voice and wisdom. My sessions thus listen carefully to what your body is saying and follow where it wants me to go.

I offer a combination of Upledger style craniosacral and biodynamic approaches, meaning I work with both the physical and the energetic bodies. My clients range from clients suffering from physical and medical conditions such as autoimmune conditions and TMJ dysfunctions to clients healing from emotional trauma. For the latter population I offer a combination of Somatic Experiencing to further reframe the trauma and regulate the nervous system.


Clients with depression, CPTSD, and prolonged chronic pain may benefit from Ketamine Assisted Therapy, which I offer at an integrative health center in East Bay (please see my website for more information.)
