About Me
My name is Cheryl Foster, RN BSN. I am a Professional health care provider specializing in complementary therapies to treat the whole person and promote abundant health. I am a Registered Nurse. I obtained an Associates Degree of Nursing from Mohave Community College, Kingman, AZ in 1991. I obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree in May, 2004 from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, Az. I have been a Registered Nurse since 1991 working many varied areas with most of my experience in ICU, CCU, Open Heart, ER, Pre op, PACU, Home Health, Case Management and Endoscopy.I work traditional medicine but my heart and passion are in complementary therapies. Traditional medicine many times falls short when it comes to treating chronic illness, mental and musculoskeletal problems.
I started getting involved with Reiki in 2001. Reiki was my opening to sensing and working with the energy of the body. I always felt like there was something else that could be more direct and helpful; something that could provide greater results using energy and my hands. I was lead to Craniosacral therapy and studied through the Upledger Institute and loved every minute of it. Craniosacral therapy has taken this knowledge that Reiki instilled and expanded it many times over and taught me about everyone's Inner Physician, cranial rhythms, anatomy and how they all interrelate. I find this very powerful and effective in providing relief for people with many ailments. The gentle technique does not initiate the body's defenses and supports and encourages the body to release emotional and energy blocks and rebalance itself physically and mentally. That is health!
My Skills
I have completed 5 levels of Craniosacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute. Cranial Sacral I and II, Somato Emotional Release I and II and Applying Acupuncture Principles to the Cranial Rhythm. I am a certified Reiki Master Teacher Usui Methods. I have recently added Biodynamic Reset to my skill set combining it with Craniosacral therapy for enhanced benefits. Biodynamic Reset is based on Dr. Jerry Tennants concept of "Healing is Voltage".Professional Associations / Memberships
