INNER BALANCE PHYSICAL THERAPY

About Me

Kyungjun (KJ) Lee is a highly skilled physical therapist dedicated to a holistic and integrative approach to healing. He actively furthers his expertise through ongoing education at the Barral Institute in New York, focusing on advanced visceral and neural manipulation. His practice is rooted in osteopathic manual therapy, emphasizing the interconnectedness of the body’s systems to address dysfunction at its source.

He believes that true healing comes from understanding the body as a whole—recognizing that visceral dysfunction can often manifest as musculoskeletal pain, such as chronic headaches, neck pain, or lower back discomfort. His goal is to identify and treat these underlying causes, helping patients achieve long-term relief and improved movement.

His journey into osteopathic manipulation began at the Osteopath Institute in Seoul, where he trained in visceral manipulation, craniosacral technique, muscle energy technique, ligamentous articular strain, and strain-counterstrain. This experience deepened his understanding of how structural and functional imbalances in the body contribute to pain and dysfunction.

He later earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Touro College in New York, where he gained extensive clinical training. During his studies, he completed courses in functional manipulation and further explored manual therapy techniques that bridge traditional physical therapy with advanced hands-on approaches.

His foundation in physical therapy started in Korea, where he studied at Korea University and specialized in spinal stabilization and myofascial release during his graduate studies in rehabilitation science. He also trained in classical physical therapy methods, including the Stanley Paris approach to lumbar stabilization, the McKenzie method, and myofascial release techniques.
