Desiree P Gibbs

Desiree offers 25 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist in a beautiful and relaxing environment conducive to optimal healing. She delivers an integrative practice that combines the evidence-based practice of physical therapy and CranioSacral Therapy to address patients with neuro-orthopedic pain and disability due to movement syndromes, aftermath of injuries and disease, as well as sensory integration issues.

She has incorporated the subtle approach of CranioSacral Therapy to patients whose tolerance to conventional physical therapy management is very low, and/or patients who are demonstrating a pattern of cranial-dural involvement.

Desiree has utilized the therapeutic healing of CranioSacral Therapy to improve wellness and general well-being of patients.

As a proponent of neuroplasticity and personal healing, many of her patients achieve long-term success. This has allowed them to get back to full function in activities of daily living as they reintegrate back into the community after illness or injury. Desiree is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Gait and Movement Clinical Society, International Alliance of Healthcare Practitioners, and she holds a Diplomate and Senior Disability Analyst status by the American Board of Disability Analysts, which awarded her Emeritus status in 2016.
