My mission is to create healthier lives on a global level.I will share my story & background with you and if it resonates with you I would love the opportunity to help you find harmony in your health and in your life.What is Craniosacral Therapy: Craniosacral therapy balances the natural rhythms of the mind and body. It involves facilitating the body’s own natural capacity when trauma(both physical/emotional) or disease processes become overwhelming for the system. It is a light touch therapy that releases tensions deep in the body and therefore allowing the entire body to relax and self-correct. Career Background: I have been a health care professional for 32 years. My career as a Primary Health Care Provider has focused on the oral-systemic health connection and the prevention and treatment of oral disease. In the past 15 years my focus with continuing education has had specific consideration in the areas of Holistic Health, Womens Health, Periodontal Disease, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Oral cancer and HPV related oral-pharyngeal cancer, medically compromised patients and nutritional counselling. I am also active within my community providing nutrition and oral health education to school age children.
I became very interested in Craniosacral therapy several years ago when I went for treatment myself. Dental Hygiene is a very physical profession and I found this treatment was excellent for releasing deep tension. In 2017 I decided to expand my career and become a Craniosacral Practitioner. My Story: I have 3 awesome kids and a wonderful husband who have been my biggest cheerleaders as I chose to step into my passion. Seven years ago I started my own company Powered By Nature. My focus was to help others find harmony in health and life. I created a 360 degree ecosystem of holistic wellness. I provide CranioSacral therapy and a unique holistic lifestyle approach for my clients. It has been a wonderful soul journey to peace,clarity & living my best life; and the best part is helping others do the same!
