I have been studying and practicing CST and associated therapies under IAHE since 1997, and feel so grateful to have been introduced to these different yet synergistic modalities. As a Movement Therapist, I look at movement in all the systems of the body. The dialogue between the tissues and my hands dictates the structures with which we work and how. "Support precedes movement" is a main principle of Body-Mind Centering of which I am a practitioner, and the type of support that is needed depends on what your body-mind expresses to me and what I hear/feel/see/intuit with my hands, eyes and heart. I believe that with the right support, any condition can improve.
In addition to practicing CST, LDT, VM, NM, ZB and Cranial Release Technique, I am also a Body-Mind Centering (BMC) Practitioner, Infant Developmental Movement Educator, Registered Yoga Teacher (influenced by Iyengar, Katonah, BMC and Continuum Movement), soon-to-be Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and Reiki Master. I received BioDynamic CST training with Roger Gilchrist and studied Somatic Intuition at the Soma Psyche Institute.
