About Me

I was born in The Netherlands and completed my Bachelor's degree in physical therapy. Moving to Florida in 1992, I was surprised to see how little manual techniques were used, the emphasis seemed to be on modalities and exercise. Then I took CST1 in 1992 and I have been "hooked" since. The only true authority regarding your health is your own body, all of UI's classes recognize this and teach you to listen to it, engage the barrier(s) and then follow the release. The result is a gentle and very effective hands on treatment that never forces and is based on what your body needs.
