About

Body therapy at Trudy's Touch has been a journey. Beginning in dentistry exposed me to people suffering with many ailments. The desire to improve the quality of life was always a strong interest of mine. My interest in body work grew from the relief I received with CranioSacral Therapy after a personal injury. As a licensed health-care professional I began my studies in CranioSacral Therapy and added Lymphatic Drainage Therapy which led me to change my career. I finished a Massage Therapy Diploma program of 750 hours. Became licensed in Florida in 2004 and opened a Massage Establishment in 2005. Reflexology added balance to my practice in 2009. Through these three modalities many people have received dramatic improvement to long term pain issues. Bodywork is a way of allowing the individual's own system to make corrections and improve their well-being. No diagnosis of disease is part of this practice. Lymphedema Certification was the next step in my training as a well rounded therapist in these modalities. In 2009 I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Health from Clayton College which assists me in having a better understanding of the healthy body.

My Skills

I have over 200 hours of CranialSacral instruction with experience as a teaching assistant. Lymphatic Drainage classes have been over 160 hours of instruction as well as a teaching assistant. Lymphedema Certified as well.
