About Me

Hello, all! My name is Jody, and I am a CranioSacral Therapist in Burien WA.  I have also been a practicing speech therapist for 30 years (CCC-SLP), and studying CranioSacral Therapy (CST) through the Upledger Institute International since 2009.  After witnessing first hand during that time the changes that can come about using CST, I am overjoyed to bring this transformational modality to the masses! 

I love that CST supports a journey toward balance, through self-knowledge and self-care.  As a CranioSacral Therapist I am honored to accompany you along the way. Using gentle touch to tune into core rhythms of the body, we may find and release physical and energetic restriction and trauma so that you can spend more of your energy in health and well-being.  We can peel away the compensations of life and move tissues/systems/bodies toward homeostasis (balance).

Achieving balance, one can more easily walk through the world connecting with self and others in positive and powerful ways.  From infancy to hospice, all humans can benefit when the rough edges are softened.

My Skills

I have been studying with the Upledger Institute International since 2009, and have studied and practiced working in the structure and function of the brain, cranial nerves, enteric system, immune system, musculoskeletal, and more.  I have also studied work with infants, families, and in the embryologic self.  Whether restriction is global or in a specific tissue or cell; whether physical, emotional, or energetic release; I have worked in all levels, bringing the gentlest of intentions with optimal transformation.
