About

I'm Tallas Sandy, a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist and founder of Wednesday Born, a private bodywork practice in the Town of Esopus, NY.

My interest in bodywork began with receiving craniosacral therapy as a child, an experience that eventually led me to pursue massage therapy.

I see nervous system care as part of musculoskeletal care. My approach considers how old injuries, stress, movement, and physical demands influence patterns of tension. I work with a range of pressure and techniques, paying attention to how each person's body responds rather than assuming one approach works for everyone.

My Skills

Craniosacral Therapy: Upledger CST1 and CST2, with an interest in both biomechanical and biodynamic approaches.

Barefoot Massage: FasciAshi techniques, broad compression, sustained pressure, and myofascial work.

Thai Bodywork: Traditional mat-based bodywork, assisted stretching, compression, and movement.

Therapeutic Massage: Swedish, deep tissue, and myofascial techniques.

Forest Therapy: ANFT-trained Forest Therapy Guide.

Clinical Interests: Recurring muscular tension, headaches, jaw tension, old injuries, hypermobility, stress-related guarding, and the relationship between nervous system activity and musculoskeletal function.
