About
Jeanette Sera Crandell, or Sera as she likes to be called (pronounced like Sara), found Craniosacral Therapy in 2010 as a support for her yoga therapy clientele. Integrating trauma-informed yoga, mindfulness and intuitive energy work with CST became the backbone of her practice, supporting her clients to release and resolve trauma through the body. Starting out with the foundational methods of Craniosacral work, the elements of SomatoEmotional Release profoundly deepened the work, and dovetails with Somatic Experiencing trauma therapy. Sera further supported the renegotiation of trauma for her clients through advanced CST techniques for the brain and the immune system.Â
Sera has continued build her skills over the past decade, learning the science and art of mind-body therapy to support somatic trauma resolution. In 2015 she became a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), followed by certification in Integral Somatic Psychology (ISP) which draws upon the SE training to add in techniques to resolve complex trauma (C-PTSD) and incorporates attachment work and emotional embodiment. She is also trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 2, and is in the process of receiving her certification as an IFS Practitioner as well.
Sera's eclectic approach integrates all of these techniques to find the right combination and perspective to fit the needs of each individual client. For more information please visit her website: www. somaticpathways.com
