Maureen L Murray

L.M.T.

For thirty five years I have been practicing Manual Therapy in private practice in New Jersey. My objective is to support the flow of life-force in the body, restore mobility and function, relieve pain and promote relaxation, wellness and joy for my clients. I view the body, mind, spirit and emotions as one integrated whole and aim to support an experience of ease, integration and healing within. I invite the opportunity to work with people of all ages and conditions.

I am intrigued by the incredible grand design of the human body, its awe-inspiring wisdom and capacity to heal itself. I am inspired and amazed by the role that mindfulness and compassion can play in healing. My intuitive and technical skills are always evolving. My treatment sessions are highly influenced by studies in Yoga, Qigong, Meditation, Oriental Medicine, Anatomy and Physiology, and Osteopathy. The skill base I draw from comes from years of advanced trainings with the following teachers: John Upledger, DO, Fritz Smith, MD, Jean Pierre Barral, DO, Alain Crobier, DO, Bruno Chikly, MD, DO and Frank Lowen, LMT.
