About Me
Jennifer R. Bull, LMT has been in the field of Massage since 1999. Her passion is for thinking outside of the box and treating complex cases that have shown little progress with other practitioners or modalities. She has worked in conjunction with Chiropractors and other Medical Professionals throughout her 23 years. CranioSacral Therapy, Intraoral Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Gua Sha, Neuromuscular Re-Education are a few of the techniques she employs during her treatment sessions.
Jennifer holds a special endorsement in the State of Washington to perform Intraoral Treatment for TMJ dysfunction, Headaches, Whiplash and other Cranial/Upper Cervical issues. Jennifer occasionally instructs local massage schools and offers several continuing education seminars on multiple aspects of medical/treatment massage and chart noting as well.
Anatomy has always interested Jennifer, and her multidimensional approach to the body shows in her treatment techniques. She was originally starting down her path to become a Forensic Pathologist and decided to take a year off in the middle of her college education to become a Massage Therapist. She was hoping that this job would help get her though college monetarily until her planned career blossomed. However, after only a short time practicing Massage Therapy, Jennifer decided to make Bodywork her lifelong path.
In 2010, Jennifer became ill and had her Thyroid removed. This experience led her to seek uncommon alternative modalities herself after being told by Doctors that there was nothing wrong with her. At this time she met a lady named Silke Miller, PT, LMT and had her first experience with Craniosacral Therapy. This Therapy helped her at a time where nothing else seemed to help calm and stabilize her body. After her surgery and rehab, Jennifer decided to start the process of becoming a CranioSacral Therapist through the Upledger Institute in Florida so that she would be able to help others who have complex or mysterious issues.
Becoming a business owner in 2008 has added another whole dimension of satisfaction that she derives from Massage Therapy. Helping others by employment, treatment, community service, and education all from the creation of Unlocking The Body is a tremendously rewarding feeling to her.
