About Me

JEM Bodywork Therapy was started in 2012 by Jason E. Moore.

In the following 12 years, it has operated in the San Francisco Bay Area; Portland, Oregon; and now near the Crystal Coast in Swansboro, North Carolina. 

Jason especially likes helping vets, former athletes, and people who work with their hands get out of pain and get back to doing the things they love.

He is grateful to be back living near his parents for the first time in 20 years on the gorgeous Crystal Coast! He enjoys being in the water, at the beach, or in the mountains.

My Skills

Licensed in North Carolina and Oregon, Jason initially trained at The Esalen Institute where he studied under the creator of Deep Bodywork, Perry Holloman, and assisted the creator of Esalen Massage, Peggy Horan. 

In Oregon, he spent hundreds of hours mastering Applied Postural Mechanics under its creators, Darryl and Sharole Burch. This is where he learned his hands on method to address chronic conditions other professionals couldn’t help.  

Jason is always seeking to improve his ability to help people get out of pain and move easily. He has continued his studies with the Barral Institute in Visceral Manipulation.  Also, having trained in CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute. These practices can help with hidden, deeper problems causing pain and dysfunction often missed.
