Licensed NH Massage Therapist and Owner of Jamie Gates Wellness.
In my early 20’s, I was working a high-stress desk job with long
hours and difficult people (you know the kind). My body was paying the
price of it all. Looking to feel good in my body again, I turned to Yoga
as an outlet, and it was there that my future unfolded in a single
moment.
A teacher of mine told me I’d make a good massage therapist, and my
wheels started turning. I started reading and researching, and
eventually quit the draining job and decided to go to massage school to
find out if he was right!
22 Years later, my curiosity and obsession with understanding how the
body works is stronger than ever. I love solving the mystery of why it
stops working the way it should and how I can guide it back to healing.
My practice is built on two decades of clinical, intuitive, investigative, and deeply personal work.
After years-long recovery from Lyme and mold toxicity, I know what it
feels like to live in a body that isn’t cooperating. I know what it
feels like when your body is fighting against you to function.
Whether you’re frustrated, exhausted, or just sick of searching for
answers, I’ll meet you exactly where you are with empathy and
compassion.
