I am an internationally educated Physiotherapist from India with a strong background in physiotherapy, rehabilitation, patient care, and healthcare management. I graduated from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, India, and worked as a Lecturer in Physiotherapy from 2001 to 2006, teaching physiotherapy students while gaining clinical experience in physiotherapy clinics across Tamil Nadu, India.After moving to Canada with my husband and two sons in 2011, I continued my professional development by completing the Bridging Program for Internationally Educated Physiotherapists at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada.Since 2020, I have been working as the Director and Clinic Manager at TwinBrooks Physical Therapy & Sports Injury Clinic in Edmonton, Alberta. This role has strengthened my skills in clinic operations, team coordination, communication, and healthcare administration while allowing me to remain connected to the field of rehabilitation and patient care. In October 2026, I completed my Manual Osteopathic Therapy (MOT) program, further expanding my knowledge of the human body's structure, function, and interconnected systems. My background in physiotherapy, combined with my education in manual osteopathy, has strengthened my interest in a holistic, patient-centred approach to health and wellness.
