My Skills
Sue has extensive training in chronic and acute pain in the back, neck and extremities, women's pelvic floor physical therapy (Herman Wallace), vertigo, TMJ, tendonitis, migraines and headaches, anxiety, digestive issues, sports and over-use injuries, post-surgery and fracture rehabilitation, manual therapy, functional exercise with Gary Gray, and customized exercise to address muscle imbalances, balance, core strengthening, and self-help.
Sue has had additional training working with patients with trauma, PTSD, depression, Alzheimer's, and feeding issues with infants. She treats her pets with craniosacral therapy as well!
Sue has a unique ability to evaluate the patient as a whole and feels through the body to enhance the body's ability to address the areas of tightness, promote healing, decrease pain, and supports the patient through their process. Many times, patients report that Sue is the first therapist that has been able to help them with their chronic pain. Sue is empathetic after sustaining an injury and dealing with chronic low back and SI pain for over two years. John Barnes MFR, craniosacral therapy, and Barral visceral manipulation helped her body realign, heal, and addressed the sub-conscious component to the pain that she wasn't aware. She is able to live an active lifestyle without pain.
