About
Dr. Grace Johnstone graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic and founded Hardwick Chiropractic in 1993. Drawn to a wide array of chiropractic techniques, early on she became enthralled with BioGeometric Integration (BGI). BGI assesses the geometry and tonal relationships within the body and biosphere, fostering an understanding of global patterning and how various manual techniques relate though it. Grace enjoyed teaching chiropractors and chiropractic students for BioGeometric Integration BGI Seminars for many years, and has continued her exploration to include osteopathic techniques, visceral and neural manipulation.
Through a severe case of Lyme disease and the resultant meningitis and radiculoneuritis, she was introduced to hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), which allowed her to recover and return to practice and the work she loves. Certified in Hyperbaric and Undersea Medicine in 2016, she founded and runs Hyperbaric Vermont, a nonprofit committed to educating people about HBOT and creating a network of treatment facilities throughout Vermont that offer affordable care to those need of this powerful modality.
Grace graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a degree in Social Thought and Political Economy, received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri, and has continued post-doctoral studies in chiropractic, osteopathy and hyperbaric medicine.
