About
My work as a manual therapist grew out of my own journey through significant injury, chronic pain, and years of physical limitation. For approximately 16 years, I intermittently relied on a cane and a wheelchair. At one point, I was told to prepare for a future that included a hospital bed in my home and being carried to my car for medical appointments. That prognosis profoundly shaped both my understanding of what it means to need hope and my desire to offer it to others.
Receiving Visceral Manipulation, Neural Manipulation, massage, and other manual therapy became an important part of my healing journey and ultimately helped shape my calling to this work. Years later, I am able to walk miles at a time and live a life I once only dreamed of.
Encouraged by one of my physical therapists, who recognized the empathy and understanding that had grown through my own experiences, I chose to pursue this work professionally so I could offer others thoughtful, compassionate care and renewed hope.
Today, my practice includes Visceral Manipulation, Neural Manipulation, and CranioSacral Therapy, supported by myofascial work and other therapeutic massage techniques. I work gently and thoughtfully, listening to both the person and the tissues to help determine what approach may be most useful in each session.
My goal is to provide a place where clients feel heard, comfortable, and confident in their care while supporting greater balance, function, ease, and hope.I look forward to working with you.
