Anita D’Onghia has been practising as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2019, with a longstanding interest in the human body and the many dimensions of health and wellness. Her exploration of complementary approaches began with Reiki studies in 2004 and has continued through years of education, clinical practice, and curiosity about the interconnected systems of the body.

Anita holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa and graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. Her diverse educational background has shaped her appreciation for the complexity of the human body and informs her thoughtful, individualized approach to massage therapy.Anita began incorporating CranioSacral Therapy techniques into her practice in 2020 and achieved Technique Certified status through the Upledger Institute in 2024.

She continues to pursue further coursework through the Institute, deepening her knowledge and developing her approach to CranioSacral Therapy within her role as a Registered Massage Therapist. These techniques now represent approximately half of her current practice, and she hopes to continue growing this area of her work.

Through her clinical experience, Anita has worked with clients presenting with a variety of concerns, including headaches and migraines, neck and back discomfort, jaw and TMJ-related tension, concussion-related concerns, sleep disturbances, fibromyalgia and persistent pain, stress, anxiety, burnout, and trauma-related concerns.

Anita is drawn to the gentle, hands-on nature of CranioSacral Therapy techniques and the opportunity to work attentively with each individual. She values understanding each client’s unique history, needs, comfort, and treatment goals, and strives to provide a supportive environment where clients feel heard and respected.

Guided by curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to lifelong learning, Anita continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing study with the Upledger Institute. Her long-term goal is to develop a practice centred on CranioSacral Therapy techniques within her RMT role.
