About Me

My passion for pelvic health was influenced by my mother, an OBGYN nurse. Growing up, my mother and I had many conversations regarding women’s health, allowing me to be comfortable discussing all things related to the pelvic floor. This sparked my interest in pelvic floor therapy in PT school. Frustrated by the number of women who consider bladder leaking normal and astounded by how females endure childbirth and are not instructed in the importance of their recovery, I dove into the world of pelvic health. I strive to help people understand their bodies and what is “normal” versus “common”.

I was born and raised in Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C. and received my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University followed by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University. I have worked in multiple physical therapy settings before working specifically in pelvic floor physical therapy.  I have received training in pelvic floor for both men and women from Herman & Wallace and Visceral Manipulation from the Barral Institute. I am passionate about working with each individual to improve movement, stay active, and take control of their health.
