Amanda LoRusso - Massage & Bodywork, LLC

About Me

Amanda LoRusso is a Structural Integration practitioner whose work is grounded in a deep understanding of anatomy, fascia, movement, and whole-body integration. She began her manual therapy training in Costa Rica in 2016 and is a graduate of Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI), having completed both the foundational and Advanced Series training. She is also certified in Advanced Myofascial Techniques (CAMT-I), further refining her approach to detailed fascial assessment, clinical reasoning, and precise hands-on treatment.

Amanda continues to expand her practice through ongoing study with the Barral Institute and training in Visceral Manipulation. This work offers a natural extension of her interest in the body as an interconnected system, inviting a deeper exploration of the relationships between the viscera, connective tissue, musculoskeletal structures, and nervous system. She approaches this continued learning with curiosity and an appreciation for the complexity of the human body, allowing her practice to continually evolve alongside her understanding.

Her work is informed by a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on human studies, as well as her background as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, yoga and meditation practitioner, and educator. She brings together scientific inquiry, extensive hands-on experience, and a lifelong curiosity about the human body to offer thoughtful, individualized care that supports greater ease, balance, and integration.
