Kimberley Sattelmeier

About

Kimberly Sattelmeier RMT graduated with distinction from the Advanced Massage Therapy 2200 hour diploma program from the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in 2014. She is registered with MTAS. Kimberley also completed her 500-hour yoga teacher training in 2015. She is certified in the following courses: Lymphatic Drainage, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Myofascial Release, Anatomy trains,  Hot Stone deep tissue massage, Vacuum Cupping and Raindrop therapy.

My Skills

Right out of collage, Kimberley became fascinated with the Myofascial system. Fascia effects our posture and can cause restrictions around the musculoskeletal system, joints, organs and nerves. These restrictions can cause many limitations in physiological movement, which will effect our bodies efficiency. Earlier in her career she did training with John Barnes - MFR and Tom Myers - Anatomy trains.  

In 2021 Kim learned how to work on the mechanoreceptors around organs, in her 1st Visceral course. She now uses Visceral Manipulation in almost every treatment because of its effectiveness and profound results. She's now completed advanced training in VM.

In 2023 Kim took her 1st Craniosacral course with Upledger. She found this work fit nicely into her practice and uses the techniques quite frequently. Craniosacral has benefitted her own nervous system and she hopes to be able to help others restore their nervous systems and vitality. She's working her way into the advanced training in this program as well. 

Kim evaluates each individual client to find their primary issues. Then treats according to what is found. She utilizes special tests and listens to the body. Her treatments are relaxing because you can work deeper into the body and get better results when relaxed. 

Also, Kim likes to repeat the classes and frequent study groups because she strives to perfect these modalities and maximize treatment efficiency. Majority of her clients are working class people who want to minimize their dysfunction.
