About Me
I live in Kelowna, BC and have a lovely, separate, self-contained treatment room in my home. I enjoy supporting people on their journey back to health as well as maintain their health. I believe by assisting the body using modalities to release tension it can self-correct, which can help relieve pain, dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.
As a Registered Massage Therapist I was exposed to this light and gentle, yet profound technique. After taking the CranioSacral Therapy Level 1 I was given an exceptional opportunity of doing a five month locum for a Registered Massage Therapist who has a CranioSacral-only practice in Vernon. I have continued my studies by completing CranioSacral Level 2,Visceral Manipulation Level 1, SomatoEmotional Release 1, Neuro Manipulation 1, CranioSacral Therapy and Working with Chronic Depletion (CSWCD) and CranioSacral Therapy Touching the Brain 1 (CTTB1).
In my practice I draw on my previous work/life experience. My background includes working as an Employment Advisor for people with disabilities. I am able to work with people of all ages and abilities and my experience working with horses and riding competitively for over 25 years taught me how to be intuitive and patient. Having taught yoga for over 13 years I am able to help people develop a more finely tuned body awareness. I like to spend time in nature with my dogs and compete in Dog Trials with my Jack Russell Terrier cross.
