Physical Therapist VM 1 TA
Tina was born and raised in Roanoke Virginia. Her BS from Virginia Tech is in Exercise Science. Following graduating from MCV with a MS in Physical Therapy, she practiced in Roanoke for 21 years. She moved to Virginia Beach in 2014 and continued her outpatient practice.She works from a manual therapy and mechanical perspective including but not limited to visceral manipulation, postural restoration, strain counter strain, muscle energy techniques, grastoning, kinesiotape, pelvic mechanics and dry needling. Her interests include treatment of abdominal pain, vagus nerve treatment, chronic pain management and hEDS. She is McKenzie trained and PRI trained. She is a TA for VM1. She has been instrumental organizing TMD programs and mentoring others in her holistic approach. She is active with her Kappa Alpha Theta alumnae chapter and loves to read and travel.
