About Me
Teresa graduated with her Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2004 from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, WI. She currently works as a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT), CranioSacral Therapist (CST), Reiki Practitioner and a Yoga Teacher. Her training and practice with CranioSacral Therapy started in 2004, Reiki Master in 2008. In May 2018, Teresa completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training under the instruction of Diana Hulet ERYT-200 YACEP, followed by Yomassage (Restorative Yoga & Bodywork/massage) training in September 2018.
Work experience as an OT included pediatrics, subacute rehab, home health, outpatient, and most recent inpatient (Hospital ICU's). When living in Portland, OR Teresa worked 4 days in the hospital and 1 day a week in private practice where she focused on providing bodywork including CranioSacral Therapy, Reiki and soft tissue mobilizations. Taught evening Yomassage (restorative yoga w/ massage incorporated), yoga classes, and did some private yoga sessions.
When Teresa takes time for herself she enjoys spending time with her significant other, family, friends, traveling, being in the trees and/or near water, experiencing and learning about practices to promote well-being and most recently playing darts.
From the very first craniosacral therapy class, Teresa knew this was work she was meant to be doing. It was love at first "sight" for Teresa with craniosacral therapy.
