About
Tara S Budd is a lifelong resident of Steuben and DeKalb Counties in Northeast Indiana. She graduated with high honors in 2004 from Tri-State University (now Trine University) with a degree in Business, majoring in accounting.
In 2007 when her 5th child, of 7, was born with a very rare, genetic condition she was referred by a local physical therapist to get her son Craniosacral Therapy. After researching the therapy, she knew that not only did she want to get the therapy for her child, but that everyone could benefit from the therapy. It was then that she knew it was her calling to learn the therapy to help her son and others as well. “It has been Life changing.â€
Since 2010 she has successfully completed basic CST all the way through advanced CST, as well as several other elective classes. Her additional continuing educational medical certificates include medical intuition, visceral, immune system, unwinding the meridians applying Chinese medicine and acupuncture to CST principles, and many more.
Because of her medical background, in 2014, she also started working at a social security disability firm in her hometown. She has continued her medical education and working with medical conditions in other ways as well. By 2017, after one-on-one training from the 2 attorneys at the firm, she took an exam equivalent to the bar exam though the social security administration. She is now an Accredited Disability Representative - she fights for the rights of disabled persons in their social security disability hearings. The two jobs go hand in hand because of the medical knowledge and learning from each.
As a CST Therapist, her experience includes working successfully with newborn infants through 90 year old clients for a myriad of issues. Doctor John Upledger (the father of development of the CST) said “ If you’re not too smart to know that it can’t be done, you may be able to do it.â€Â “That’s the key to this work,†says T.Budd “there is no limit in what it can do!â€Â Through her training, Tara has been taught to parallel this way of treatment, which is to have a deep-rooted understanding, while listening to and learning from the body’s cells through the inner wisdom of the Client.Â
In 2026 Tara's current practice as a longevity specialist includes teaching in group settings - to layman, caretakers, and healthcare professionals - the medical benefits of CranialSacral Therapy and how to perform basic techniques on themselves and others that help in reversing the inflammation process in the body. She works through dialoguing with the body's cells, including the DNA, to bring about corrections in the body - including the central nervous system, immune system, digestive issues, endocrine, lymphatic, respiratory, skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, urinary, and reproductive systems - using the body's electromagnetic energy fields, applying Chinese Medicine and acupuncture principles, and much more in her therapy practice to bring about changes to enhance health and longevity. She works with people and animals alike, including Equine.
