About
Physical therapist specializing in Craniosacral Therapy & Myofascial Release
From an early age, Siobhan recognized her sensitivity to the energies of those around her. Knowing she was inclined towards a profession that helped others, her holistic upbringing and experience as an athlete, led her towards her profession in physical therapy. Siobhan completed her B.Sc. in Kinesiology from McGill University in 2006, followed by her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College in 2010.
As she began her career as a physical therapist, Siobhan was disenchanted by western medicine’s disconnect between the body and mind. Her desire to offer more to her patients led her to complete her 500-hr yoga teacher training in 2012. As Siobhan deepened her awareness of self, she was inspired to pursue coursework that addressed not only the tissues of the body, but the nervous system and psyche as well. She truly finds joy in helping others increase self awareness, so that they can be empowered to participate in their own healing.
In addition to having worked in both acute rehab and outpatient orthopedic settings, Siobhan was adjunct faculty in the Physical Therapy department at New York Medial College from 2013-2019. She has a love for teaching and sharing her knowledge and intuition with those around her.
Siobhan completed her training in Craniosacral Fascial Therapy specializing in the treatment of infants and continues to pursue her studies in craniosacral, myofascial release and visceral manipulation within the Upledger, Barnes & Barral Institutes. Siobhan is currently enrolled in German New Medicine for Health Professionals program with Andi Locke Mears.
Siobhan enjoys spending her free time in nature with people she loves!
