About Me
I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2007 from Northeastern University and have over 15 years of experience as a physical therapist. I also earned my Masters of Science in physical therapy and a Bachelors of Science in rehabilitation science from Northeastern University.Â
I was traditionally trained as a physical therapist and practiced that way for many years. Through my own health struggles I found craniosacral therapy which was my introduction to all forms of bottom up processing and integrative medicine. I now combine more traditional modalities with craniosacral, somatic processing, visceral manipulation, speciality testing (food inflammation test, dutch test for hormones, etc) to provide my clients with care that is inclusive of the health of their mind, body, and spirit. My goal is always to increase the feelings of safety and security my clients experience within their own body so they can begin to process innate memories/experiences that may be contributing to their symptoms. I also teach meditation classes that are focused on building internal safety and then move into some independent somatic processing and integration. Most recently I’ve been including some diagnostic ultrasound for musculoskeletal symptoms and ultrasound guided dry needling. I’m hoping to start using the diagnostic ultrasound with visceral manipulation as well to see if I can identify fascial changes that occur during somatic processing!
