About

What sets my practice apart is the integration of decades of clinical experience, academic scholarship, and whole-person care. I am an occupational therapist with 25 years of experience, a certified health coach, NIH-funded researcher, professor, and craniosacral therapy practitioner. Across these roles, my work has consistently centered on helping people navigate health in ways that are both evidence-based and deeply personal.
 
My approach recognizes that health is shaped not only by medical conditions, but also by stress, habits, routines, relationships, meaning, and the demands of everyday life. I work collaboratively with individuals to develop realistic and sustainable strategies that support long-term well-being, nervous system regulation, resilience, and participation in the activities that matter most to them.
 
In both my clinical and research work, I have focused extensively on health management, chronic conditions, caregiving, and wellness promotion. Clients often tell me they appreciate that I take time to truly listen, understand the broader context of their lives, and tailor care to their unique needs rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is to create a supportive space where people feel empowered, informed, and capable of making meaningful changes that improve both health and quality of life.
