Rhonda has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for over thirty years which is where she started to see the intricate connections between the oral cavity and the rest of the body. Â Seeing these connections led her to a second career in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) which identifies dysfunctional patterns and habits in the head and neck region and uses neuromuscular re-education to help bring back normal function. Â Unfortunately, these dysfunctions often lead to strain patterns throughout the body. Â During her OMT training, she started to hear about craniosacral therapy as an adjunctive therapy for many of these issues. Â She was hooked after her first course! Â She then returned to school to attain a license in massage therapy and now has the ability to incorporate traditional massage, craniosacral therapy, lymphatic drainage therapy, and visceral manipulation therapy into the majority of her treatment plans. Â Rhonda believes the body should be treated as a whole for optimal health, balance, daily functioning, and overall quality of life.
In her spare time, Rhonda likes to spend time outdoors, read, hike, and hang out with family and friends.
