Hello lovely human! I’m Rachel Broome. I am SO glad you are here. My experience is focused around finding each human's innate healing capacity and returning home to the wholeness we are inherently made from. I find lots of intrigue with helping humans heal wounds from early childhood trauma and specialize with trauma, CPTSD, attachment-based dynamics, religious trauma, and ritual abuse, cult abuse and dissociative disorders (like DID). It’s in the togetherness and in our connection together that the magic of healing gets to happen. I believe that regardless of the techniques used, the most important aspects are connection and safety, both in the relationships with each other, and in our relationship with our own bodies and with our world. I like to say I show up as a human first, a somatic experiencing practitioner second, and a counselor and bodyworker last. I strive to help each client feel safe within their own body, and with me, in each session. I work consistently with somatic experiencing and have integrated various kinds of touch modalities for over a decade, with humans of all ages, though particularly love working with kiddos, and those who are healing from some of their earlier needs.
