About Me

Dr. Naja Chikazunga-Martin, PT, DPT, WHC, PRPC, NBC-HWC is a licensed physical therapist and a board-certified health and wellness coach specialty certified in women’s health and nutrition. Dr. Naja Chikazunga-Martin brings a high level of energy and personality to the individuals she serves.  Naja received her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 1999 from Florida A&M University and 2014, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Simmons College, Boston MA. Naja has worked in various clinical settings (Outpatient, Acute-care, Inpatient-Rehab, Long-Term Acute Care Settings, and Short-term rehabilitation). 

After several years of watching women not always achieve the functional potential in physical rehab, Naja shifted her career focus. In 2013, Naja began her mission to help women with their gender-specific health issues. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014 from Simmons College and followed her passion-Women’s Health  physical therapy. Naja’s passion in Pelvic Health as a physical therapist gained her national recognition as a Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner (PRPC). 

Naja is advanced trained in Neural Manipulation Techniques, Visceral Manipulation Techniques, Myofascial Release Techniques, CranioSacral Therapy Techniques, and Lifestyle Medicine applications. Naja relies on this holistic alliance as a catalyst, evoking the mind-body-spirit to feel and function in better health and wellness. Naja’s integrative approach enables her to provide men, women, transgender and children exceptional support for her clients on their healthy living journey. 

As a board-certified health and wellness coach, Naja’s mission is to support women struggling with the pelvic system’s incredibly frustrating symptoms, including pelvic pain, hormonal imbalances through the lifespan,  who may feel as though they have exhausted all their options. Naja believes it is a person’s inherent right to know and dialogue with her body utilizing scientifically proven holistic methods to support her health. Naja helps individuals take charge of their health through holistic healing and lifestyle medicine. 

Naja thrives with her wonderful life-partner and husband. They have two vibrant and unconditionally loving sons. Naja enjoys her daily mindful meditation self-care moments, weekly spa time, forest bathing, blueberry picking, purposeful fitness routines, playing sports and board games with her family and cuddle time with her husband.
