About Me

I offer my services in Toronto and the GTA area and specialize in treating trauma holistically. In 2017 I completed training in Interpersonal Neurobiology and it is this work that integrates the modalities of CranioSacral Therapy, Somatic Movement, and Existential Psychotherapy to facilitate the healing of trauma.

I started out in Somatic body work and CranioSacral therapy, helping people heal from injuries, and discover greater freedom of movement and integration in their bodies.

I soon found that my clients’ physical traumas always had an emotional side. Emotions and buried truths would come pouring out; clients would tell me their life stories and deepest hopes and fears.

I found that one person’s migraine was caused by stress, another person’s neck pain came from hunching their shoulders because they felt constantly under attack, and that someone else’s hip pain came from a childhood injury that still haunted them.

Our physical and emotional lives aren’t separate. Each of us is a whole person, and when someone lives through any trauma, it’s not just one part of them that needs support.

It isn’t easy to separate people’s thoughts and feelings from the sensations in their physical bodies.

That’s when I became a psychotherapist.

Now that I’m a Registered Psychotherapist, with a myriad of trainings, the underlying principle of my practice is still the same. I meet people where they are and treat the whole person.

Sometimes my CranioSacral clients need to talk; sometimes my talk therapy clients need to move. As a therapist, whatever part of you is in pain, it’s my role to hold a space for you.  You are the expert on yourself, I facilitate you discovering what you need to find your way home.

I shifted the focus of her practice to working with how attachment wounds, abuse and trauma, manifest in distress reducing behaviours, anxiety, and depression. My use of CST/SER is particularly helpful in supporting the return to secure attachment and embodiment.

My Skills

A Certified CranioSacral Therapist, I have completed 7 levels of training with the Upledger Institute and continue to work with the organization as a Certified Teaching Assistant in Toronto.

Using the arts to capture the essence of emotional release, I support people finding the way home to secure connection with themselves so they can connect with others.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. In 2020 I completed qualifications to be a certified Supervisor for Psychotherapists specializing in somatic modalities to release implicit trauma.
