About Me

I am a Registered Physiotherapist who graduated with a BSc. in Physiotherapy from McGill University in 1991.

I currently work in a private Healthcare Clinic called Denise Semple and Associates Healthcare Clinic. Previous experiences includes working in various hospitals in Montreal and Toronto/GTA in multiple areas of practice (Orthopaedics, Neurology Rehabilitation, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Pelvic Floor Therapy, Cardiorespiratory, Gerontology, Paediatrics)

I believe that providing effective one-on-one, gentle manual therapy techniques, and utilizing a total body approach is key to restoring optimal health and well-being in my clients.

My Skills

My manual therapy techniques include Articular (spinal and joints) Visceral, Neural and Cranial Manual Therapy. I also have extensive training and experience in Integrative Manual Therapy (CSIMT) including Cranial therapy, Strain-Counterstrain, Lymphatics, Compression Syndromes, Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Technique (MET), Myofascial Mapping. I am trained in the Mulligan Concept and McKenzie for lumbar spine. In 2009, I successfully obtained my Certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy from Emory University in Atlanta, USA.
