Michele Fava is a speech language pathologist in practice since 1992, who specializes in voice, swallowing and motor speech disorders. She has been integrating manual therapy, including craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, visceral manipulation and other integrated structural therapies, into her care of patients for over 20 years. She has had a private practice, Clear Voice Therapy, in Providence, RI, since 2010. This practice is now part of the Voice Body Mind Healing Collaborative. Michele provides therapy to adults and children with a variety of diagnoses such as dysphagia, dysphonia and breathing problems. Some of these include, but are not limited, to vocal nodules, polyps, vocal fold paralysis, head and neck cancer, PVFD, chronic cough, TMJ, and dysarthria/other neurologic disorders. She also offers opportunities for discovering the “inner voice” through manual therapy techniques in conjunction with SER and Somatic Experiencing principles.
