About Me
Dr. Michaela (Miki) Bailey PT, DPT earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at George Fox University in Newberg, OR.
Her clinical background includes Orthopedic, Women's Health and Pelvic Health, and Geriatric therapy.
Miki believes that vitality and feeling good are possible at any age and so she strives to help facilitate the body’s innate healing mechanisms to restore global balance and well-being. Miki is a lifelong learner and continually studies new techniques and treatments that acts at the root cause of each patient’s symptoms.
Holistic practice is the foundation of Miki's work. Advanced expertise includes Somato-Emotional Release, Visceral Manipulation, and Neural Manipulation.
Main specialties include Orthopedics and Spinal Rehabilitation.
Miki employs a variety of manual therapy approaches including MDT/ McKenzie, Mulligan, Maitland, Kaltenborn, MET, Visceral Manipulation, and myofascial mobilizations including Mayan Abdominal massage.
She is committed to providing holistic and integrative care, and loves working collaboratively with other medical professionals including Naturopaths, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, Homeopaths, Nutritionists, MDs, and alternative practitioners.
In addition to her work as a physical therapist, Miki is a second-degree Reiki practitioner and is happy to collaborate with Energy Medicine practitioners.
