About

Mckaila is a licensed massage therapist practicing Craniosacral Therapy in Wellington, New Zealand. She has just recently moved to New Zealand from Seattle, Washington where she was born and raised. Mckaila is originally trained as a Neuroscientist, working for the Allen Brain Institute. However, has recently embarked on a career change to become a Craniosacral Therapist full time. Mckaila first learned about Craniosacral Therapy about 13 years ago when she suffered a concussion, leaving her with Post-Concussion Syndrome. Craniosacral Therapy has helped Mckaila with her chronic headaches, concentration issues, and fatigue. She has been receiving treatment on a regular basis for the last decade - including an intensive treatment session at the Upledger Institute back in 2015. 

Mckaila is passionate about helping others in the way that she has been helped, through compassionate touch, a deep understanding of anatomy, and the belief in the body's innate ability to heal.
