I've been specializing in Craniosacral Therapy and pediatrics work for nearly 20 years. I entered Potomac Massage Training Institute, Washington, DC, in 1995 and immediately began advanced studies in craniosacral therapy and osteopathic visceral manipulation through the Upledger Institute. I found the coursework incredibly fascinating and experienced profound results on clients with asthama, chronic neck pain, etc. I was quickly drawn to specialize in pediatric bodywork and developmental movement because of my strong interest in childrens wellness. I soon realized that my own childhood issues of medical complications and surgeries would lead me on an insightful healing journey that deepened my clinical experience.

During my advanced studies, I was fortunate to work with the late Dr. John Upledger, DO; developer of craniosacral therapy. The first time I worked extensively with an autistic child was on his intensive treatment clinic therapy team. I also joined him as a teaching assistant for his pioneering coursework on healing the deepest brain regions. "Dr. John" taught me to think not just about systems integration, but the energetic relationship of the entire family. He demonstrated incredible compassion for caregivers of special needs children and adults suffering from brain and spinal cord injuries.
