About Me
My name is Mary Yeager and I have been a physical therapist for over 20 years, primarily in the out-patient orthopedic setting. Working so many years in healthcare, I began to get frustrated, feeling like it was becoming less about the patient and their well- being and more about how many patients I could see in one day, i.e. money. To be honest, it became like an assembly line getting patients in and out. I chose a career in physical therapy because I wanted to help people regain their optimal quality of life. I questioned the way healthcare was continuing to trend, was this a realistic goal? I became burned out and seriously thought about leaving the field all together, but. . . CranioSacral Therapy found me. It was an answer to my prayers as a practitioner in so many ways. I began using this powerful tool in the clinic. The clinic setting only allowed me to spend 10-15 minutes of Cranial work on a patient because of patient volume and charging expectations. I can honestly say that in over 20 years of practice, I have never witnessed the type of dramatic healing that occurs through the light touch of CranioSacral Therapy. I have seen it change the lives of people who had once lost hope. It not only dramatically changed the lives of my patients, it changed my life as well. It became clear to me that CranioSacral Therapy had the potential to help so many people who were suffering, frustrated, stressed out, in pain, or had lost hope completely. It not only facilitated healing of their boy, it created an environment in their body and mind to optimally fight off future physical and mental stressors. I now have my own physical therapy clinic specializing in CranioSacral Therapy. I have had my own practice since 2016. I get the privilege of providing Healing and Hope for so many people.
