About Me
Mary prefers to use her nickname "Molly". Molly treats clients at all ages and stages, from birth to hospice. It is not uncommon for Molly to see clients through fertility challenge, pregnancy, and birth. She also sees infants struggling with tongue tie, torticollis, or colic. The common thread through Molly's work has always been her goal to empower her clients to see the healing force within themselves, to recognize that while a "healer" may be a cheerleader, coach and source of sustenance, the healing actually occurs within the client using their tools and resources. She is an educator who helps her clients understand how to tap those tools and resources. Molly is a NYS licensed massage therapist, Spinning BabiesĀ® Aware Practitioner, Abdominal Therapist traditional Usui Reiki Master Teacher. Since 1990 she has studied traditional healing modalities while specializing in craniosacral therapy in her practice focusing on the body's spiritual and physical well-being. Molly is also a full spectrum doula, helping families plan, conceive and birth their babies. She was on staff from 2005 to 2010 at the University of Rochester Medical Center's Strong Memorial Hospital, where she worked as a volunteer as a member of the Palliative Care team bringing gentle massage and energy bodywork techniques to patients coping with disabilities or chronic illnesses, receiving cancer treatment or confronting end of life in hospice.
