Mary Atkins

About

Mary Atkins is a Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in CranioSacral Therapy (CST) and Distance Healing (DH.) She’s been practicing CST since 1999 and DH since 2016. Mary has been helping people of all ages around the world tap into a deeper sense of Wellness and experience healing. While committing to each client’s unique needs she helps them to address issues such as breastfeeding challenges, trauma, PTSD, chronic pain, and more.

Mary’s passion for CST blossomed from her own transformational experiences while in the hands of caring and skilled CST Therapists. That passion continues to grow as she partners with her clients and witnesses healing on a daily basis.

My Skills

Mary received her CST training through the Upledger Institute and has completed the first level of Advanced Training in addition to CST for Pediatrics. She has also completed all 4 levels of Unwinding Meridians: Applying Acupuncture Principles to CST (UMAC.) Mary also is a CST Teaching Assistant for the Institute.

Her training in Distance Healing has been a culmination of intensive trainings with Ken Koles, a UI Instructor and immersion courses with Suzanne Scurlock, the creator of Healing From The Core.

Additional trainings include Visceral Manipulation 1, numerous Neuromuscular classes, LaStone Therapy, Reflexology, and Healing Touch.

In 1997 Mary earned the Certificate of Natural Therapeutic Specialist from the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics, and immediately began practicing Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy. She also has a B.S. in Social Work from Loyola University, Chicago.
