I came to Connecticut in 1987 to study massage therapy, joined Therapeutic Massage Associates and never left. I enjoy working on people who have challenges whether they involve injuries, chronic pain or athletic endeavors. I describe my skill in massage therapy as a problem solver because I explore the mysteries of each individual’s problem: physically, energetically and emotionally. To that end, I have studied a broad range of modalities including Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Acupressure, and Myofascial Work to name a few. I completed four years of study in Energy Medicine and Spiritual Healing with Dorothy Neville at the Institute of Healing Arts and Sciences. Most recently I have studied CranioSacral with the Upledger Institute. I am working towards my certification and enjoy the healing journey with each client.
When I am not at TMA I enjoy traveling, hiking, biking and leading dances and workshops in vintage dance, dances of the Victorian and ragtime eras, 1840-1925 as well as English Country Dancing.
