About Me

Margarita Soberon started her professional life as a Historian having received her Licenciatura degree in 1984 with "Mencion Honorofica" and studied Political Sciences At Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in 1988-1990.

In 1990, when she had a very serious accident riding horses, she changed her career path to the world of bodywork and psychotherapy.

After finishing her training in bodywork and massage therapy, she found Cranio Sacral Therapy and turned it to be the most important tool she uses. She has trained in many different approaches of body oriented psychotherapy and coaching (Integración Postural, Masaje Boyesen, Masaje Reichiano, Sexual Grounding, Hakomi Method, Mind Body Eating Coach, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, etc).

Since 2002 she devoted part of her time and efforts to develop CST in Mexico through the UI courses, first by bringing the UII teachers. 

Now  she has the Diplomat Level Certification and is certified too as Cranio Sacral I and II teacher for the UI. 

In 2007, joined by a group of equally enthusiastic cranio sacral therapists, she created the "Upledger Institute Mexico", with areas devoted to teaching, supervised practice for students, and clients attention in Cranio Sacral and other complimentary techniques. The Upledger Institute Mexico is starting a research program, "multiple hands work", and CST in water.

Since 2024 she moved her private practice to Cuernavaca, Mor and is starting the Upledger institute Mexico in this city.
