Skills
As a CranioSacral Therapist educated through the Upledger Institute International, Liz uses gentle, precise hands-on techniques to support the craniosacral system and promote the body’s innate ability to heal. She integrates a variety of modalities—including lymphatic, myofascial, muscular, and SomatoEmotional Release (SER)—to create sessions tailored to each client’s unique needs. Liz works with both adults and children - starting at infancy - across a wide range of physical and emotional conditions, with a focus on restoring balance, resilience, and overall well-being.
Liz's path into this work began over 20 years ago when she was encouraged to seek hands-on therapy for one of her sons, who was experiencing dyslexia and vision challenges. That first experience with CranioSacral Therapy was transformative—what she describes as “love at first touch.” With a background in elementary and middle school education, emphasizing science from Texas State University, she felt a clear calling to change course and pursue this work more deeply. She completed massage therapy training at SHI in Lebanon, Ohio, building a strong foundation in complementary hands-on techniques that continue to inform her practice today.
Being exposed to a variety of cultures as she grew up in a military family helps Liz to work with a diverse array of people. Her interest in continuous learning and helping others is rooted in being raised with strong values of education, service, and community. She met her husband of nearly 38 years while attending school in Texas, and together they continued a life of travel before settling in the Dayton, Ohio area. Liz and her husband are blessed with five children, their families and ten grandchildren. Her family and faith remain the greatest sources of joy and inspiration in her life.
Outside of her practice, Liz finds renewal in nature—whether walking her dog, hiking in all seasons, kayaking, or camping. This connection to the natural world deeply influences her work, reinforcing her commitment to creating a safe, nurturing space where clients can heal, grow, and thrive.
