About Me

I am a Licensed Physiotherapist, Certified Craniosacral Therapist and Exercise Physiologist who is an expert in Pain Management in and around Croton-on-Hudson, NY. I have been in practice for 28 years. My healing work is one of my life's great passions. I consider all the wonderful modalities I use to be a form of art whose beauty lies in how I put them together to address each individual's needs. I am constantly learning so my work is always evolving. I also teach regularly which energizes me and keeps me excited about the work I do. I am committed to helping you heal, restore your health and balance and help you achieve lifelong wellness. My heart-centered work embraces the philosophy of limitless human potential through healing and evolving spirit. Our partnership will require your nurturing and commitment to yourself.

With advanced skills in orthopedic and osteopathic manipulation, neuromeningeal mobilization, nerve mobilization, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, energy medicine, manual thermal diagnosis, emotional integration/release, lymphatic drainage, clinical expertise in differential diagnostics, experience, and intuitive ability, I give you the best of both worlds. My strength is integrating conventional medicine with complementary and alternative techniques to treat you as a whole person.

I received my degree in Physical Therapy from New York University in 1995 and began my Physical Therapy career at Mt. Sinai Medical Center. I provided Physical Therapy to medical surgical patients, outpatients with orthopedic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, vestibular dysfunctions and chronic pain patients. I rehabilitated patients on the orthopedic floor immediately after surgery of the back, hips, knees, shoulders, and neck. In 1997 I combined my Physical Therapy experience, dance background and advanced training from The North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy to develop and manage the Dance Physical Therapy Department at New York University Health Center. During my tenure at NYU Health Center, I developed screening and injury prevention programs for New York University's Dance Department and developed and managed a chronic pain practice. I cared for NYU students after orthopedic surgeries such as Anterior Cruciate Ligament, rotator cuff, labral tears, etc. I also provided Physical Therapy backstage for Broadway dancers and actors. I worked with The NYC Ballet and on shows such as The Lion King, 42nd Street, Cabaret, and Chicago. I am certified in Craniosacral Therapy and have advanced training in Visceral Manipulation, Zero Balancing, Lymphatic Drainage, and Somatoemotional release. I incorporate energy medicine/chakra balancing into my healing work.

I Teacher-Assist classes in Visceral Manipulation for The Barral Institute and Craniosacral Therapy for the Upledger Institute. I teach workshops in how to use basic Craniosacral Therapy techniques to help children. This specialized training allows me to treat all types of injuries with a high level of sensitivity and expertise. My strength is integrating conventional physical medicine with complementary and alternative techniques to treat you as a whole person. I have been in private practice since 2001.
