When I first started my journey with Visceral and Neural Manipulation. I took all of the classes that I could within a few months. A few things clicked, but for the most part, everything seemed vague and nebulous. Even when I was the class demo or getting sessions, I wondered if I was feeling anything. That all changed, dramatically, when I retook the VM2 class in May of 2025 with a particular instructor.
I asked my instructor on the last day of class to put her hands on me so that I could feel her technique. I had flown out to take her class because she is THE go-to practitioner for medical professionals when they need help for themselves. While she did a technique on me, I could feel the depth of her laser-like precision. It was unlike anything I had ever felt before. Shocked, I asked her how she was able to do what I just felt. And she told me exactly how she does what she does.
That brief hands-on encounter changed me, my goals, and how I work.
I'm chasing that feeling and it's an adventure in possibility that I hope to share with you.

My Skills
I've been a massage therapist and registered polarity practitioner since 2007 completing the 1300 hour program at the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts.
I then studied two asian modalities that I loved: thai on the table and shiatsu. These helped me to understand meridians better. I also studied lomi lomi.
I became a certified instructor of Champissage: indian Head Massage and taught this 3-day curriculum nationally for several years.
Most recently, I have become certified in SMRT (Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique) which is based on counterstrain techniques for quick and easy muscle release. Following the phenomenal results of this technique I looked for further ways to think about the body and choose Visceral Manipulation.
I have taken: VM1, VM2, VM4, Advanced Visceral Components of the Neck and Thorax
Regarding Neuromeningeal therapy, I have taken NM1.
