I have been practicing since 2006 both craniosacral/massage service to adults, teens and children for a variety of causes emotional and/or physical.  I work with those that have had trauma either physically, spiritually or mentally. In addition to CST and SER work, I am a licensed massage therapist and have training in Swedish, Hot Stone, Lymphatic, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy, PostPartum Support, Bamboo, Balinese, Acupressure, Reiki and Shiatzu, Acupressure, as well as others. I also have advanced training with Upledger Institute in Craniosacral Therapy/ Somatic-Emotional Release therapy and Brain work. I specialize with body/mind trauma. Overall, I focus on the total well-being of all my clients and allow the "body to talk" in what is going on.  In addition, I have Chinese Visceral Manipulation (CHI NEI TSANG Internal organ massage) and Medical Qigong. I have experienced work with three grandmother healers from the Cherokee and Lakota tribes for additional understanding. Grandmother June in particular from Springbank Spirituality Center has been a great teacher to me. I am honored to have had the opportunity to learn from her before her passing. 

Pre and PostPartum Support for mothers and baby: During postpartum (around 3 months after childbirth) is an important time of transformation for both mother and baby. Many adjustments are made to recover, restore and establish new experiences and bonding. Craniosacral therapy (CST) helps in this recovery and restoration as well as helping with deeper sleep and mental clarity. CST provides a gentle, holistic approach during this critical period of time with lasting healthy changes to develop.

My practice does include babies, young children and adolescents: Gifted, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Physical disabilities, Behavioral Issues, and Sensitives. I have over 30 years experience in working with children/youth as a teacher, administrator and professor in special/alternative education. 

CST and SER takes a whole-person approach to healing and the inter-connections of mind, body and spirit are deeply acknowledged. It is an effective form of treatment for a wide range of illnesses helping to create conditions for good health, encouraging strength and facilitating a sense of well-being.

Hours of operation / Fees

Craniosacral Therapy /1 hour = $120.00    Mouth Work available

Integrative Massage = 85.00 an hour and $125 for 90 minutes

Reiki – Energy Work/ I hour = $85.00

+ Hot Stones included in any massage work, also in sometimes cranial sacral therapy

+ Breast Massage = if requested and included with signed consentIntegrative Massage – 1 hour = $85.00 at cabin   1.5 hours = 125.00(Cash or Check only). 


I also work part-time at two spas/massage businesses and can accommodate a wheelchair or other disability needs there. My cabin has stairs. I have two dogs and a cat that stay outside while you are here.

Skills

CranioSacral Therapy is an approach that is powerful, but gentle to your body. You can stay fully clothed for CST or can combine with massage. It helps to release trauma from the body/mind, reduces stress from the nervous system and rebalances your natural healing system. You become stronger and more capable by strengthening your internal systems. I work intuitively and with careful listening to the whole person. You can combine any of these practices together in an integrative experience tailored to your needs. 

I am open to working with anyone of any age, from birth to elder. I welcome the LGBQT community. I am a Licensed, National Board tested/passed Massage and Bodywork Therapist in North Carolina and a NC Certified Educator. Masters in Educational Leadership and Administration/Special Education, Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction/Special Education/Child and Family Policies [University of South Florida].
