Hi! My name is Kisha. I’ve been practicing as a licensed massage therapist since 2013. I learned about this craft by attending SUNY Morrisville where I studied under some incredible professors inside and outside the wellness field. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend college, and learn from those who were more than happy to hand over their knowledge and expertise.
During my professional journey, I’ve met some extremely talented health and wellness practitioners along the way, and have learned so much from them. Those I studied with in school; those I worked with at my former business Relief & Relaxation Massage Therapy; at Elevate Albany Wellness; and Albany Massage; as well as through through the incredible Upledger Craniosacral courses, and study groups I’ve attended.
Practicing Craniosacral Therapy after so many years of massage has been eye opening. This light touch therapy has taught me so much about what the body is capable of on its own, and how letting go of control can facilitate deep releases in the body I’ve never experienced with just massage therapy.
I’ve also learned so much from my clients. Their trust, feedback, and kindness have helped my practice and spirit thrive.
I love what I do, and am so grateful for the experiences I’ve had in this profession, and throughout my life! I’m definitely looking forward to what else lies ahead on this journey.
