About
Katy is a holistic practitioner whose path into bodywork was shaped by both her professional background and her own profound healing journey. More than 25 years ago, she began studying sports medicine in school, building an early foundation in anatomy, physiology, movement, injury, and rehabilitation. She later worked in the medical device field, specializing in implantable cardiovascular and peripheral technologies, which deepened her understanding of Western medicine, medical terminology, and the eleven systems of the body. Alongside this clinical foundation, Katy has spent many years studying and practicing meditation, nutrition, energy-based healing, and other Eastern and integrative approaches to health and well-being.
Her understanding of the body became deeply personal after experiencing multiple life-altering injuries that required her to relearn how to walk. Through years of rehabilitation and an integrative recovery process spanning the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual dimensions of healing, Katy experienced firsthand the body’s remarkable capacity to adapt, restore, and heal. Craniosacral work, Rolfing, therapeutic bodywork, meditation, nutrition, movement, and energy-based practices all played meaningful roles in her recovery.
These experiences ultimately inspired Katy to pursue massage therapy, craniosacral work, spinal energetics, and visceral manipulation as ways to support others in reconnecting with their bodies and their own healing processes.
Today, Katy blends therapeutic massage, craniosacral work, and energy-based practices with her background in both Western and Eastern approaches to health. Her work is grounded in the belief that the body carries innate wisdom and healing potential, and that meaningful change can unfold when the nervous system and the body’s natural self-regulating and restorative processes are supported with skilled, intentional, and compassionate care.
Prior to entering massage and craniosacral training, Katy spent more than 16 years working with thousands of individuals as a certified executive and health coach, NLP trainer, consultant, and speaker. She brings this depth of experience into her bodywork practice, creating grounded and supportive spaces where clients can slow down, reconnect with themselves, restore greater balance, and cultivate a deeper relationship with their own bodies.
